Scott Ludwig is a fine art painter specializing in contemporary modern abstraction. He currently lives in Costa Mesa California & the mountains outside of Boulder Colorado. He has a BFA w a emphasis in painting from the Kansas city art institute. After a brief time teaching @ the Colorado academy of art he joined Jesse Fortune as a founding member of the southern California studio / gallery Location 1980.

His work is usually large scale and represents the modern aesthetic of unconventional materials & techniques. Often leaving the viewer wondering mysteriously what they are seeing & how it was produced.
