Andrew Naar was born in 1965 in Santa Monica CA. Being raised in the Santa Monica  mountains, he spent many hours each day for many years, hiking and exploring.  Surrounded by a huge variety of trees and fauna, Andrew began imagining anthropamorphically, the various creatures that seemed to be hiding in plain site,  waiting for him to give them form. 

It was in this way that The Wizard of Wood came into being, and now he is The Wizard of Naarly Wood. Don't worry though, he only practices positive magic, unless of course you're  willing to sell him your soul. (Confidentially, the very reason he came to Hollywood.)
